    Stream Composer

    Public 5.3.0

The Stream Composer is where you build overlays. Start small: an actor’s portrait, name, and one value are enough to check that everything is connected.

Choose the actor the overlay should display. Add an actor-value component and select the value you want. The available fields depend on the actor’s system and any enabled OBS Utils companions.

System companions can add readable fields and system-specific events when their releases support your OBS Utils and Foundry versions. Check the companion’s compatibility before enabling it.

Preview the overlay, then check the actual OBS browser source. A preview tells you how the overlay looks; the browser source confirms that the stream user can receive the data.

Export related overlays as a bundle when you want to move them between worlds or share them with someone else. Keep images and fonts available to the receiving Foundry server too.

The previous editor walkthrough is preserved with its screenshots. It may show an older interface.
