Choose the stream camera
The stream camera belongs to the OBS client. Open the Director in your normal Foundry browser to choose what it should show.
Follow tokens
Section titled “Follow tokens”Automatic following uses token permissions to decide which tokens the spectator can follow. You can also choose a custom selection when you want the stream to stay with a particular group.
Combat has its own mode choice. Following the active combat token is useful when you want the audience to see whose turn it is without moving the camera yourself.
Copy a user’s view
Section titled “Copy a user’s view”Tracked mode copies another user’s viewport. Choose the user whose view the stream should follow. This is useful when a GM or player is already framing the action the way you want.
Show the map
Section titled “Show the map”Birds-eye mode fits the map to the stream view. It works well between encounters or when the audience needs the wider scene.
Check the actual source
Section titled “Check the actual source”After changing a mode, look at the OBS browser source. If the result is unexpected, check the tracked user, token permissions, and the current combat mode before changing the scene itself.
